Starting a company is no small feat – especially when you’re a millennial living in London, juggling a full-time job, and paying what feels like extortionate rent. But here we are, navigating the wild world of entrepreneurship, and let me tell you, it’s an adventure.
One of the first things we realised when launching Sunny Snug was the importance of partnerships. No one builds something great entirely on their own – and we certainly didn’t intend to. So, where did we start? Well, with a bit of nepotism, of course. (Kidding! Sort of.)
You see, one of our strategic partnerships is with Oxford Talks, a company run by none other than my boyfriend. Yes, I know what you’re thinking, but hey, when you’re starting up, you take all the help you can get! Besides, Oxford Talks is a perfect fit for us, offering expertise in community engagement and connections that are invaluable as we look to create spaces where people can come together. So, while it may seem like we’re keeping it in the family, this partnership is all about making Sunny Snug the best it can be.
But we didn’t stop there. We’re also teaming up with local farmers and artisan shops because we’re passionate about showcasing what our local producers are doing. These are the folks who pour their hearts and souls into creating amazing products, and we want to give them the spotlight they deserve. By featuring fresh, locally-sourced goods in our Snugs, we’re not just offering convenience – we’re elevating the entire community.
So, there you have it – a little bit of nepotism and a whole lot of local love.
And as we continue to grow, we’re on the hunt for more partnerships that align with our values and help us make Sunny Snug a true community hub.
It’s been a wild ride so far, but with the right partners by our side, we’re excited to see where this journey takes us.
Stay tuned, because this is just the beginning!
